Matt

Lead guitar, backing vocals

I have been playing guitar since my early teens and have played in many bands all over the country, mainly fronting my own band 'The Rudimentary Confusion'. Towards my late teens, I got heavily into 60s blues/psychedelic music with bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream and The Rolling Stones; my guitar style is heavily rooted in this era. From listening to this genre of music I stumbled across Bob Dylan as he, along with The Beatles, largely dominated the 60s. If not by him, someone else playing a version of his songs. Dylan has also been an influence for me writing my own songs.

Although I have always liked the music of Bob Dylan, I hadn't generally played versions of his songs until I joined The Bob Dylan Experience; I am very much enjoying them even more!
